Platen Weigh Scales

H&P utilizes the latest material handling innovations for up-to-date reliability and ease of operation. This option, which is designed to record the weight of the car and its contents, can be installed on any new or existing dumper system. The electronic scale platen rests on compression-type load cells and weights are recorded automatically without impact on cycle time. Also capable of being captured are date, time, car identification, net weight, tare weight and weight summations. The output can be provided on-site or transmitted electronically to remote locations. Car reading devices can also be incorporated into the Weigh Scale System.

The Platen Weigh Scale is fully certifiable and meets the criteria as set forth in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Handbook 44, and AAR Scale Handbook.
