Flash Dryer & Cooler

The Renneburg-Mark Flash Dryer is used for drying high moisture, temperature-sensitive material with high thermal efficiency. Moisture is flashed off with high-velocity hot air while the product remains at low temperature with a short residence time. Renneburg Flash Dryers are currently processing a variety of materials including, chemicals, minerals, sludge, food stuffs, plastics, gypsum and wood fibers.

Renneburg Mark Flash Dryers differ from conventional flash dryers because they employ the principle of selective processing. This feature ensures that every particle's residence time is proportional to its size and weight, resulting in a homogeneous final moisture content and a high quality product without physical or chemical degradation.

Several sizes of standard designs are available to handle feed rates ranging from 100 lbs. per hour to 50 tons per hour. We can also install special back-mixing equipment for feeding pasty or sticky products effectively. The Renneburg Division offers a complete line of Flash Dryers including our Rotacurrent and Venturijet designs, which were developed by Andre Mark of Lyon, France. Complete testing in our Pilot Plant Testing Lab ensures the suitability of your actual product with our Flash Dryer designs.
